"מה שעורר את העניין שלי בנושא, היה תוכנית מטעם בית הספר שבה הייתה לי הזדמנות להשתתף בסדנה על הערכה של קפה גורמה. מצאתי שיטה ליצור קצף יציב מספיק בכדי לעשות את פסלי ה-3D על גבי הספלים שלי", אמרה דפני.

[Watch the full video on YouTube, link in my story] - Sorry for the lengthy captions on my recent posts but the increase in my outreach ability has called for personal reflection. I’ve received multiple media requests whereby various companies have asked me questions about my hobby and I appreciate it a lot because these questions make me ponder about my journey. “What do people say when they first see your latte art” was one question I got. I never really thought about it but here was my response. There is a spectrum of reactions. Many say "oh my gosh, it's so cute" and I've received comments expressing their awe of the wobbly lattes. I've actually even gotten a DM for a marriage proposal HAHAHAHA However, detractors often posit that my creations are a "waste of time", "didn't her parents teach her not to play with food" or "the coffee will get cold". My focus isn't really on the coffee per say, though I love coffee but rather, the art of food. The mantra "you eat with your eyes first" resonates with me and I wanted to pursue an art form that was different from a regular canvas, that was more fragile hence challenges me with its complexity. I just thought I’d share my thoughts!

This is incredible. I reached 16k? I’d like to thank one of the first few brands who reached out to me (when I had exactly half the following I currently do) and had faith in my potential to grow - @BaristaEspresso (shoutout to Roy for contacting me!) It was a boost of confidence in my abilities and a fuel for my passion in creating art in cups. Thank you for supporting my work and giving me amazing products to work with!
